You hear a compliment and you immediately explain why it isn't true. You keep waiting to feel strong enough, qualified enough, together enough, before you show up.

Paul had something he called a thorn in his flesh, and he begged God three times to take it away. God didn't. He told Paul His grace was already enough, and that His power works best right where Paul was falling short. So Paul quit hiding the weak spot. He started pointing at it, because that's where Christ's power came and stayed.
