"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16) We have heard it so many times it can turn into background noise. Read it slowly and it stops being familiar.
A Father gave His only Son for people who were not asking for Him. Not for the version of you that has it together, and not after you earned it.
Most love comes with terms you have to keep. This one was settled before you showed up, and what it holds out is life that never ends. Download your John 3:16 phone wallpaper and let it remind you every day how loved you already are.
